How do I use projections effectively?
Projections on each athlete or team card are a starting
point, not an answer. Some ways experienced players use them:
1. Look at the gap between projections. If the top six projections are tightly bunched, rankings
can flip with a single play — consider Best6. If there's a clear gap, Exacta6
may give you an edge.
2. Compare projection to matchup. If an athlete's projection looks low relative to a
favorable matchup, you may have found value.
3. Factor in recent trends. Projections use history, but hot streaks and slumps can
outpace historical averages. Use the app's recent-form indicators alongside
projections.
4. Don't anchor.
Projections are informational — not betting odds and not a guarantee. Final
scoring is based only on official game statistics.
