What happens if a player I selected does not play?

If a selected player or team does not participate at all in the underlying event (for example, they are inactive, scratched, or the event is canceled), the selection is treated as non-participating for contest settlement.

If a player does participate but records zero of the tracked statistic (for example, a player who plays one minute and gets injured, or a player who records 0 points), the selection is still valid and is scored according to the normal contest rules — they simply didn't contribute to the stat total.

For information on entries with multiple non-participating selections, see "What happens if multiple selected players do not participate?"
