Why is my leaderboard rank different than I expected?

A few things can cause a rank to look "off":

• The contest hasn't settled yet. Leaderboard rank only includes points from settled contests. A contest isn't settled — and doesn't contribute to your rank — until after the last game in the contest ends and official statistics are certified. Settlement can take up to 72 hours.

• Stat corrections. If a contest's final stats are corrected within 48 hours of settlement, your score and the leaderboard are updated with the corrected value.

• Tiebreakers. If you and another user have the same total points, the Weekly Leaderboard uses a tiebreaker rule. See "How are leaderboard ties broken?"

• Weekly reset. The Weekly Leaderboard resets every Monday at 5:00 AM ET. If you were ranked high on Sunday and see yourself lower on Monday morning, the week has rolled over.

If your rank still looks wrong after checking these, submit a ticket with the week, your expected rank, and what you're seeing.
